Lots of visitors!

I have the plastic feeder. It took a little while for the woodpeckers to use it, but I also have it near another regular suet feeder and seed feeder. They use it all of the time now and seem to love it! I've been very pleased with the results. And the squirrels have not bothered it at all, so that makes me VERY happy!

The real wood feeder rotted quickly so I bought this. The surfaced seemed too smooth so I scraped it with a jagged blade. It's easy to clean and has lasted over a year. The birds are all coming to it.

Unreal Wood

I have had overwhelming success with Hi Vitality suet in the real wood Nature's Feeder even though the wood splits in time. I could not get birds to use the plastic feeder. I hung the Forest Friend plastic log right next to the empty wood feeder to encourage it's use. The downy clung to the real wood and leaned across to eat from the still full plastic. The design may have been updated since my purchase. I wish you success.
