Margarita BOP Penstemon - 3" pot

(Penstemon heterophyllus 'Margarita BOP') A great plant for wildlife, with nectar for Hummingbirds and Butterflies, seeds for songbirds, and semi-evergreen foliage for cover. Beautiful sky blue blooms acquire pink tones as they age, and they keep coming from early summer to fall. Very long-lived (unlike some Penstemons), so you and the birds will enjoy it for years. Once established, it takes drought well, and deer don't care for it. (BOP, 'back of porch,' where the breeder found it growing.)
