(Clematis 'Princess Diana') Vivid 2 1/2-inch blooms face outward to greet you from June through September, followed by silky seed heads. Hummingbirds find the trumpet-shaped blooms very attractive, and the seed heads are a favorite component for lining their nests. Vines are sturdy and compact, and do well in summer's heat. Prune hard in late winter.

Zones 5-9, 6-8' tall, sun/part shade, 3" pot.
