Wildfire Blackgum - 1 gal pot

(Nyssa sylvatica 'Wildfire') Blackgums are one of the most beautiful of our native trees, and Wildfire is the best of the species! It is colorful not just in fall, but throughout the growing season because of the unique ruby coloring on its new growth. Outstanding for its lovely pyramidal form, neon red fall color, small black fruits that are very popular with Robins, Thrushes, Pileated Woodpeckers, Waxwings, ! Tough as nails, it is at home in poorly drained heavy soil, but does perfectly well in a drier spots, too. Resistant to black spot.
