I have used this product for years and I used to be very pleased with the quality. The birds loved it and I didn't have to be concerned with it going rancid. Unfortunately, the quality of the product has declined precipitously. It is no longer a "dough" as advertised (it does not look at all like the dough shown on the product photo). The product is now cut with cheap filler, which appears to be cornmeal (or a cornmeal-like substance). The instructions say "Hand knead dough and form it into shaped desired to fit the feeder". This is not possible - the formula is now too grainy and mealy to hold a shape. One could, of course, just buy the "Hi-vitality Stix" to fit the Nature feeder, post feeder or Forest Friend feeder, which is probably what the manufacturer would prefer, but that is a more expensive option for the consumer, especially when feeding a lot of birds. I'm looking for another alternative now. Too bad, because this used to be a really great product.
